Acute Primary Care

There is no need to rush to the Accident & Emergency (A&E) departments for fever or acute pain. You can always consult our Family Physicians. Unlike General Practitioners (GPs), Family Physicians will either hold a Master Medicine (Family Medicine) or a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. Skilled in managing complex illnesses and emergencies, our Family Physicians are able to incorporate evidence-based medicine in our daily clinical practice, based on three basic principles; the best available research evidence, clinical acumen in identifying each individual’s unique health state and management of each individual’s cultural beliefs and values related to the treatment.

Our Family Physicians treat and manage conditions like:

  • Common cold
  • Aches and pains
  • Minor fractures and sprains
  • Cuts and wounds
  • Removal of stitches
  • Steroid injections for trigger finger and tenosynovitis
  • Joint injection for shoulder pain
  • Knee injection for osteoarthritis
  • Evacuation of sublingual hematoma
  • Wedge resection of ingrown toenail
  • Nail avulsion
  • Removal of skin tag
